Most of these are NOT even netbooks to me.

For me, a netbook is an INEXPENSIVE computer: I could take it with me anywhere because it is not my main computer and if it gets broken/stolen/lost is just an annoyance, not a catastrophe. So, for me, anything above $400 does not qualify as a "netbook". Take it anywhere is also one of the most important points, so a 12' screen and full size keyboard also are very difficult to have and still be called "netbook". None of the computers with either of those commented here are netbooks to me.

The technical characteristics (CPU, memory, GPU, etc) are NOT important in the let's call it "qualification" to be a netbook, it just must: be highly portable to take it anywhere, be inexpensive enough (I think $400 maximum) and be capable of light surfing, bare office-related tasks (reading PDFs, light word processing etc) and basic entertainment (standard definition video, basically).
Also battery is an issue, but since it is at odds with both price and portability, it should be one of the main differentiation points, since storage, memory and CPU are not once the functionality requirements are met.
So, can you actually write an article about netbooks and not about small computers?
